welcome to bread maiden ✿

what is bread maiden? bread maiden is me (yumna) but also bread maiden is light peaking through window panes, butter half melting on toast, and folding creases to keep track in a book. it is also dancing wildly, a shimmering pale moon, and a garden at peak season.

i made this website because i have too many thoughts and not a place to contain them. to intrdouce myself a little more formally, my name is yumna, but i also go by mimi, a self-anointed nickname because my childhood one is too funny. i am from detroit and have lived in southeast michigan all my life. i like a lot of things but my current preoccupations are doing freeform radio, writing songs, drawing, baking and gardening. i am a bit of a domestic and love sharing food with friends.
